BOX REFERENCE...
This is a summary of most boxes, this does not tell how to make them
but a brief summary of what they do. In later articles I will provide
ways to making these, and how they do what they do.
A
Acrylic Box- This box allows you to steal 3-way calling, Call Waiting, and
programmable call forwarding on old 4-wire phone systems.
Aero Box- Used to call free for both local and international calls.
Aqua Box- This box is so you can escape a lock-in trace.
B
Beige Box- Makes a Lineman's handset.
Black Box- The person calling your home phone won't be charged for their
call.
Blast Box- Amplifies the microphone in your phone.
Blaze Box- Activates the fire alarm switches in your school by remote
control.
Blotto Box- This is supposedly able to knock out an entire area code.
Blue Box- This provides you with free phone calls
Brown Box- This one takes two different phone lines from your home, and
makes a party line out of them.
Bud Box- To get free phone calls and tapping your neighbors phone line.
Busy Box- When any phone thats connected to this is picked up, no dial tone
is heard, and no calls can be received, or sent.
C
Chartreuse Box- This is so you can use the electricity from your phone line,
making your electric bills a little lower.
Cheese Box- Make your phone into a pay phone.
Chrome Box- This box manipulates traffic lights.
Clear Box- This one will let you make free calls from post-coin payphones.
Color Box- This records phone calls when the phone line is activated.
Copper Box- Used to take down any phone service in any given area.
Crimson Box- Adds a hold button and a mute button to your phone.
D
Dark Box- Will let you route incoming and outgoing phone calls to another
phone.
DayGlo Box- Connects you to your neighbor's phone line.
DNA Box- Record and decypher the ID beeps at the beginning of cellular calls.
Divertor Box- Route incoming and outgoing calls to another phone.
DLoc Box- Create yourself a party line from two phone lines.
D.U.O. Box- Determines what phone lines are working.
F
Fuschia Box- Makes three-way calling available on your phone.
G
Gold Box- Let you dial out from another phone line.
Green Box- Emulates Coin Collect, Coin Return, and Ringback tones.
H
Hallmark- Make a cheap red box.
I
Infinity Box- Remotely activated phone.
J
Jack Box- This is a Touch-Tone keypad.
L
Light Box- In-use indicator light for your phone.
Lunch Box- Transmits and recieves phone calls over the AM frequency.
M
Magneta Box- Connects two different remote phone lines.
Mauve Box- Tap into a phone line without cutting into it.
Mega Box- Hook up a second line to your house.
Modu Box- Make a permanent lineman's handset without ruining your phone.
N
Neon Box- With this you can play and record sounds right into your phone
line.
Noise Box- Hmmmm might this create line noise, why yes, yes it does.
O
Olive Box- Used to ring a phone without knowing it's number.
P
Paisley Box- Seize operator lines, remote control over TSPS and TOPS consols
with beige, blue, and blotto box functions.
Pandoras Box- Uses a high-intensity frequency to produce a pain field.
Party Box- Yet another box that creates a party line from two phone lines.
Pearl Box- Produces tones from 1-9999 hz.
Plaid Box- Makes your phone touch-tone ready.
Pink Box- And again, its another box that creates a party line from two phone
lines.
Purple Box- This one makes a hold button for your phone.
R
Rainbow Box- This is supposed to kill a lock-in trace by sending 120v through
your phone line.
Razz Box- Taps into your neighbors phone.
Red Box- Make free phone calls from payphones.
Rock Box- This one will add some music to your phone line.
S
Scarlet Box- Makes a bad connection on a phone line.
Silver Box- Changes up your phone so you can use the A-D touch-tones.
Static Box- Regulates voltage to avoid static.
Storm Box- Makes a quick erase of your hard drive in case some Feds decide
to show up.
Switch Box- Used to control the function of your home phone lines.
Sword Box- A bud/beige/and DayGlo box put together with more functions.
T
Tan Box- Records phone conversations when the phone line is picked up.
Tron Box- Reverse the phase of power to your house making your electric meter
to run slower, resulting in lower electric bills.
TVCable Box- This one is supposed to allow you to see sound waves on your TV.
U
Urine Box- Creates a capacitive disturbance between the ring and tip of
someone's telephone headset.
V
Violet Box- Keeps a payphone from hanging up.
W
White Box- It's a portable DTMF (dual-tone multi-frequency) keypad.
Y
Yellow Box- Add an extension phone.
